Since the beginning.........
Prior to the year 2006, Gates County High School had no form of brotherhood. Coming from Elizabeth
City, the enrollment of Jerry Johnson to GCHS sparked an urge for brotherhood. Jerry Johnson has been part of Nu Gamma Psi
(G-Cubs) since the 9th grade and plans to expand the organization. "Rather you want a few black men in agreement constructively
or them being out in the streets selling drugs", he said. Successfully Jerry Johnson has established over 30 members into
the brotherhood. Goals?, his goals is to attend ECU becoming a teacher and a chapter founder for Nu Gamma Psi Fraternity,
Inc. "In our eyes, blacks are a majority"....-The little bruhs of Nu Gamma Psi Fraternity, Inc.
